There's something truly magical about Albay, a place that feels like it beats with its own rhythm. Settled in the Bicol Region of the Philippines, Albay is more than just a destination, it's an experience. Whether it's your first visit or your tenth, there's always something to discover, something to love, and something that will leave you in awe. At the heart of Albay is its most famous gem: Mayon Volcano. Known for its perfect cone shape, Mayon is not just a stunning sight,  it is a symbol of  Albay's beauty and resilience. Seeing it in person is like stepping into a postcard. On clear days, the volcano stands tall against a bright blue sky, a picture of perfection. But even when clouds drift around its peak, an air of mystery makes you want to keep staring. For me, it's more than just a landmark, it's a reminder of nature's incredible power and artistry. And let's not forget the food! If you visit Albay, you have to try their famous Bicol Express....

There's something magical about the phrase "first international trip." It carries an air of excitement, a touch of nervousness, and a sense of boundless curiosity. For me, that adventure began on July 20, 2024, when I boarded a Philippine Airlines flight to Thailand. It was a night flight, and I landed in Bangkok at midnight. The experience with the Immigration Officer (IO) was smooth, despite my initial worries, and before I knew it, I was officially in Thailand! My first full day in Bangkok started with a visit to Wat Pho, home to the iconic Reclining Buddha. Words can barely describe the awe I felt standing before this massive golden figure. It's a sight that demands not just your eyes but also your heart. Unfortunately, the weather had its own plans, it started pouring rain.  After my 2-day, and 3-night in Malaysia, I rode a bus from Malacca to Singapore. The journey took around 3 to 4 hours, and before I knew it, I was in the vibrant city-state of Singapore. Excitement buzzed as I checked into my hotel and quickly headed out to explore. My first stop was the iconic Merlion and the stunning Marina Bay Sands. Unfortunately, luck was not on my side that day, the Merlion was under repair, so I could not see the famous statue up close. Instead of feeling bad, I made the most of my evening. I wandered around the beautifully lit streets, soaking in the lively atmosphere. Singapore is magical at night, and every corner seems to have something interesting to offer. Before calling it a day, I treated myself to happy hour and a delightful dinner. The next morning, I kicked off my day with a visit to the Asian Civilisations Museum .
