Strolling Around Singapore

 After my 2-day, and 3-night in Malaysia, I rode a bus from Malacca to Singapore. The journey took around 3 to 4 hours, and before I knew it, I was in the vibrant city-state of Singapore. Excitement buzzed as I checked into my hotel and quickly headed out to explore.





My first stop was the iconic Merlion and the stunning Marina Bay Sands. Unfortunately, luck was not on my side that day, the Merlion was under repair, so I could not see the famous statue up close. Instead of feeling bad, I made the most of my evening. I wandered around the beautifully lit streets, soaking in the lively atmosphere. Singapore is magical at night, and every corner seems to have something interesting to offer. Before calling it a day, I treated myself to happy hour and a delightful dinner.







The next morning, I kicked off my day with a visit to the Asian Civilisations Museum. I can't even put into words how incredible the experience was. Walking through its halls was like stepping into a time machine. The exhibits showcased the rich, interconnected histories of Asia, and it left me in awe. 





























After immersing myself in history, I headed to Universal Studios. It was on my bucket list, and it did not disappoint. Singapore amazed me in so many ways, and one unexpected surprise was the daylight. At 6:30 PM, the sun was still shining bright, as if it were 3:00 PM in the Philippines. It's such a small detail, but it added to the uniqueness of my trip.






One thing I quickly learned about Singapore is that it's a city for walkers. You will find yourself strolling through parks, museums, and bustling streets, so it's essential to wear a good pair of shoes. Trust me, your feet will thank you.





Singapore is a mix of modern marvels and cultural treasures, and even though my time there was short, it left a lasting impression. Whether you are walking along Marina Bay or exploring its museums, there's always something to discover. If you are planning your own trip, pack comfortable shoes, keep an open mind, and prepare to be amazed._kenny🖤

Discovering the Heart of Cambodia: A Journey of Awe and Simplicity.

This year, I traveled to four Asian countries, but Cambodia stood out to me the most. The trip was a humbling experience for many reasons. first Cambodian beer I was deeply touched by the kindness of the Cambodian people. Their lives are simple, yet they radiate happiness. The Famous Street Calle Crisologo in Vigan City

Spontaneously, while talking with Yana over a video call, we decided to visit Vigan City after our Baguio trip.  We booked our ticket to Baguio last April, and the flight was in June. Originally, it should have been 4 nights in Baguio, but I suddenly mentioned to her that I wanted to see Vigan City and the famous Calle Crisologo, and of course, she wanted to visit the place as well. Calle Crisologo in Vigan, Ilocos Sur, is one of the most beautiful streets in the Philippines. Trip to Baguio City

Traveling with someone who matches your interests is fun and no pressure, just full of laughter and good times. I met Yana in 2019 when I enrolled in a short course. We became close friends and shared common interests. We discussed our desire to visit Baguio City. Personally, I like cool places, and Baguio comes to mind when I think of cool temperatures.
